A safari itinerary designed for two - honeymooners or a couple yearning to experience the magic of safari. This adventure lets you experience that and much more. Visit the vast National Parks spread across the country and witness first hand the tranquility and serenity of the African outdoors. Interact with the endless variety of wildlife and bird species in their natural habitat. Stay in luxury lodges and tented camps inside the parks with spectacular views and real encounters with wildlife.     Arrival Tanzania – Arusha

    You are met on arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Arusha for an overnight stay.

  • Day 2

    Arusha – Tarangire National Park

    After breakfast, your Tandala safari guide will drive you to Tarangire
    National Park where you start your safari adventure. Game drive to your luxury tented camp where you spend your first night in the African wild.

  • Day 3

    Tarangire National Park

    An entire day spent
    exploring this park, famous for its huge elephant population majestic baobab trees and gorgeous landscapes. From your camp, a guided walking safari allows you to glimpse wildlife on foot, an exhilarating sensation. Sundowners by the camp-fire, dinner and overnight at your luxury tented camp.   • Day 4

    Tarangire – Lake Manyara Nat ional Park – Ngorongoro

    Breakfast and you’re off to Lake Manyara, enjoy a game drive with stunning views of the Great Rift Valley escarpment and the lake shimmering with pink flamingoes. Late afternoon drive to Ngorongoro where you overnight at a luxury lodge perched on the rim of the crater.

  • Day 5

    Ngorongoro Conservat ion Area Authority

    Descend 600 meters (2000 feet) into this imploded volcano, the worlds largest unflooded caldera. Full day game driving with picnic lunch by the Ngoitotitok springs. Another overnight at your lodge, soak in a bubble bath or enjoy a massage.

  • Day 6

    Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park

    Your stay at a luxury tented camp or lodge will be chosen on the basis of the movement of the Wildebeest migration. Overnight at your luxury tented camp or lodge.

  • Day 7

    Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park

    Your stay at a luxury tented camp or lodge will be chosen on the basis of the movement of the Wildebeest migration. Overnight at your luxury tented camp or lodge.

  • Days 7 & 8

    Serengeti

  • Day 9

    Serengeti – Arusha

    This morning transfer to the closet airstrip and fly to Arusha Airport. Day room at a hotel in Arusha. Evening transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home. If your vacation time allows, extend your safari to other Tanzania safari attractions “Extend your Safari” or its Indian Ocean islands “Beach Retreat”.

This adventure ensures that the entire family enjoys a safari of a lifetime while preserving your children’s interests and safety. You and your children will broaden your horizons by visiting villages and their local schools, learning Maasai traditional skills and reading the “signs of the wild”.     Arrival Tanzania – Arusha

    You are met on arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Arusha for an overnight stay.

  • Day 2

    Arusha – Arusha National Park

    After breakfast, your Tandala guide will drive you to Arusha National Park where you start your safari adventure: a perfect introduction to Tanzania and its abundant wildlife and birds. Enjoy a Game drive and a short hike on the slopes of Mount Meru. Overnight in your hotel in Arusha.

    Canoe safari on Momella Lakes (minimum age 5 years old )

  • Day 3

    Arusha - Tarangire National Park

    Start the day with a visit to a very special local glass bead factory which develops the skills of the physically challenged community, followed by a visit to the Snake Park before reaching Tarangire National Park.
    Spend the remainder of the day exploring this park’s unique features: a huge elephant population, majestic baobab trees and stunning landscapes.
    Dinner and overnight at a luxury tented camp or lodge.

  • Day 4

    Tarangire National Park

    A full day of game drives in Tarangire.
    Overnight in your luxury tented camp or lodge.

  • Day 5

    Tarangire - Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority

    On your way to Ngorongoro, visit the vibrant village of Mto wa Mbu where a guided walk will give you a chance to meet and interact with local residents. Ride to the edge of Lake Manyara on a guided bicycle tour.

  • Day 6

    Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority

    Descend 600 meters (2000 feet) into this imploded volcano, the world’s largest unflooded caldera. Full day game drive with a picnic lunch by the Ngoitotitok springs.
    Overnight at your lodge on the rim of the Ngorongoro crater.

  • Day 7

    Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park

    Drive to Serengeti and visit the Ol Dupai Gorge, a famous archaeological site for the remains of Homo habilis (1.9 millions years ago) and other significant finds. Continue with a game drive to your luxury tented camp or lodge whose location will be based on the wildebeest migration.

  • Days 8 & 9

    Serengeti

    Asides from game driving, you’ll have an opportunity to view ancient Maasai rock paintings and musical rocks at Moru Kopjes and a visit to the Serengeti Visitor Centre at Seronera. Overnights at your luxury tented camp or lodge.

  • Day 10

    Serengeti – Arusha

    Arusha

    After breakfast, your Tandala safari guide will start you off on your cultural safari adventure. Visit the vibrant Arusha local market & a village close to Arusha. Enjoy a traditional African lunch, thereafter visit farming/fishery projects. This evening return to your hotel in Arusha.

  • Day 3

    Arusha - Tarangire National Park

    In the morning you head to Tarangire.
    An entire day spent exploring this national park, famous for its huge elephant population and baobab tree studded landscapes. Dinner and overnight at a luxury tented camp or lodge.

  • Day 4

    Tarangire National Park

    A full day game drive in Tarangire. This evening return to your luxury tented camp or lodge.

  • Day 5

    Tarangire – Karatu (Ngorongoro highlands)

    Drive to Karatu, enroute visit the vibrant and colourful village of Mto wa Mbu. This village is an incredible mix of different tribes living side by side. A guided walk through a labyrinth of village pathways gives you a chance to meet and interact with the local residents. Late afternoon drive to Karatu where you overnight at a luxury lodge set amidst the fertile farming area.

  • Day 6

    Karatu – Lake Eyasi

    An early start takes you to shores of Lake Eyasi. Looming in the background are the Ngorongoro highlands.
    In the afternoon visit with the Datoga tribe renowned blacksmiths.
    Dinner and overnight at a quaint luxury tented camp on the shores of Lake Eyasi.

  • Day 7

    Lake Eyasi – Ngorongoro

    This morning spend a few hours with the nomadic Hadzabe, one of the last hunter gatherer tribes in the world. Locate and visit their encampment and maybe even head out on a roots & berries gathering jaunt or even a hunt – watching at a safe distance how skilled the Hadzabe are with the handmade bows and arrows.
    In the afternoon drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority to your luxury lodge set on the rim of the crater.

  • Day 8

    Ngorongoro

    Descend 600 meters (2000 feet) into this imploded volcano – the worlds largest unflooded caldera. A full day game driving with picnic lunch by the Ngoitotitok springs.
    This evening return to your lodge on the crater rim for overnight.

  • Day 9

    Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park

    Today you travel by air to Serengeti.
    On arrival at an airstrip in Serengeti, you are met by your safari guide and embark on a game drive to your next luxury tented camp or lodge. Your luxury tented camp or lodge will be chosen on the basis of the movement of the Wildebeest migration.

  • Days 10 & 11

    Serengeti

    Your days are filled with game driving activities. You are free to discuss your preferences with your safari guide who will plan the days as you wish. Overnights at your luxury tented camp or lodge.

  • Day 1

    Arusha - Zanzibar

    A scheduled flight takes you from most Tanzanian Airports or Airstrips to Zanzibar International Airport. On arrival you are met and transferred to your hotel set in the quaint and historic Stone Town for an overnight stay. This evening explore Forodhani market, the water front area that is famous for it’s delicious spicy local cuisine.

  • Day 2

    Stone Town – beach resort

    Today embark on a guided Stone Town tour that takes you to the House of Wonders, Zanzibar Museum, the fish market and stroll through the narrow streets of this historic town.
    Later you will be driven to your beach resort for your overnight stay.

    Beach resort

    Spend your days at complete leisure, soaking up the sun, enjoying the clear and warm waters of the Indian Ocean.
    If you are more activity inclined, there’s plenty on offer - snorkeling, deep sea diving, sailing, dolphin tours, village visits, Jozani Forest, a Spice Tour and a visit to the infamous Prison Island and much more.

  • Final Day

    Beach resort - home

    After your stay on the beach, you will be transferred back to Zanzibar International Airport for flight to Dar Es Salaam where you connect with your international flight homeward bound.

The “Mountain of God” is the only active volcano in East Africa. This 9,777 feet (2,980 meters) mountain still puffs and belches steam, ash and black lava from its bubbling crater. Take in spectacular views from its summit of the Great Rift Valley and the soda beds of Lake Natron.
